Diego is the CEO and Founder of 6 Elements, a company dedicated to providing top-notch health and safety services for film productions.(espacio) With a background as a medical doctor focused in Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery, 12 years of experience as a Lieutenant in the Peruvian Firefighters Corps, and with private clients as a Executive Protection Specialist for the last 6 years, Diego prioritizes prevention, planning, and well-executed protocols for any film project, especially in hostile environments.
Diego’s experience includes pre-hospital medical attention, fire, vehicular, ropes, and hazmat rescue scenarios, as well as working with high net-worth private clients and their overseas trips. His additional experience in extreme sports events like Dakar Rally, working in a COVID-ICU during the pandemic, and filming projects with Nat Geo, Discovery, Paramount Pictures, among others, has led him to continue his training in expedition and wilderness medicine, diving physiology, executive protection, rescue, infectious and tropical diseases.
Diego’s passion for the wilderness, the outdoors, and health and safety has inspired him to specialize in delivering exceptional health and safety services for film crews in movies and documentaries.
